Mental health

Mental health services

An extensive range of mental health services for children, adolescents, adults and older adults, addressing mental health and co-occurring disorder challenges.

Psychiatry, therapy and community rehabilitation sit in the same record as primary care, so a diagnosis here does not mean being referred out and starting again somewhere else.

Where mental health care happens

One assessment decides which of these you start in, and moving between them does not mean a new prescriber.

    Outpatient Mental Health Clinic

For youth and adults with qualifying mental illnesses. Community-based and in-home work on daily living skills, built around an assessment and a personalized plan rather than a fixed curriculum.

  • A clinician and a client talking in the client's living room

    Mobile Treatment Services

Care delivered where the patient is, for people whose frequent visits to a clinic would pose logistical barriers. It is the practice's founding habit, still running.

    Health Home Program

Community-based integrated care for people with chronic conditions at heightened risk of complications, including persistent mental illness. Somatic and behavioral health coordinated across a multidisciplinary network.

What the first three weeks look like

No patient is placed in a program before an assessment, and no assessment happens before we have told you what it will cost.

  1. Days 1–2

    Intake call and benefits check

A coordinator confirms eligibility, verifies your insurance, and schedules your appointment. If you are unable to pay, a sliding-scale discount is applied and you are told the cost before anything is scheduled.

  2. Week 1

    Clinical assessment

A licensed clinician completes the biopsychosocial evaluation, covering history, medications and risk screening, then issues a provisional diagnosis with an ASAM level of care.

  3. Weeks 2–3

    Treatment plan in motion

You start with the prescriber and therapist who will stay with you, and the plan is reviewed at every update as your level of care steps up or down.

What it costs

Settled before you are booked in

You are told what it will cost before anything is scheduled, never after.

  • Most major plans billed

Medicare, Cigna and Optum among them. Benefits are verified free of charge before your first appointment.

  • Sliding scale if you're uninsured

Fees are set against household size and income under the federal poverty guidelines, and the scale is published.

  • Nobody is turned away

Clients are never denied services because of an inability to pay current or past fees.
